Gold, Silver and Bronze: Mavala at the Health & Wellbeing Awards 2026
Three Mavala products were placed at the Health & Wellbeing Awards 2026. Perfect Concealer took Gold for Make-up Product of the Year, and in Nail Product of the Year, Nailactan took Silver and Mava-Strong Base Coat took Bronze. Here is what was recognised, and what the judge said.

summary
Gold: Perfect Concealer, Make-up Product of the Year
Mavala's Perfect Concealer was named Gold winner, Make-up Product of the Year, at the Health & Wellbeing Awards 2026. It is a concealer built on two serums, with niacinamide and caffeine to brighten dark circles and correct redness, spots and imperfections, and it comes in three shades.
The awards are judged by named testers who live with the product. Emma Steele judged this category, and this is what she said about the Gold:
Absolutely loved this concealer, the colour was lovely, so easy to blend and did not appear cakey and lasted pretty much all day. The applicator is a great size to use all over. Great price point for the size of this product. ingredients are great and scan green on the Yuka app - would definitely purchase!

Silver: Nailactan, Nail Product of the Year
In the same year, Nailactan took Silver in Nail Product of the Year. It is a nourishing nail cream, worked into the nail root, with a formula of essential amino acids, lipids and strengthening vitamins. It is one of the older products in the range and still one of the most recommended, which is usually a sign that something works rather than that something is new.
Bronze: Mava-Strong Base Coat, Nail Product of the Year
Bronze in the same category went to Mava-Strong Base Coat, which is designed for weak nails and sits under colour to protect the nail from the damage that frequent polishing causes. Two placings in one category is the part we are quietly pleased about: the treatment and the base coat are meant to be used together, and the judges rated both.
Who runs these awards
The Health & Wellbeing Awards are run by Artichoke Media, the publisher of Health & Wellbeing magazine. Products are tested by named judges rather than scored on a submission form, and the placings are Gold, Silver and Bronze within each category.
We say that plainly because not every beauty award works this way, and it is the difference between a badge and an opinion worth reading. A placing is not a claim about what a product will do for you. It is a record of what one tester found when they used it.

Is Mavala an award-winning brand?
Yes, across nail care, skincare and make-up, and consistently rather than once. The full record, with the year, the category and the placing for each one, is on our awards and recognition page. Every entry there names the awarding body, because an award is only worth as much as the people who gave it.
