Yes. Mavala products have been recognised by a range of independent UK beauty awards and expert panels, most recently when Serum Foundation was named Best Foundation at the Top Santé Health & Beauty Awards 2025. Across the past few years our make-up, skincare and nail treatments have taken wins and honours at the Health and Wellbeing Awards, the Beauty Shortlist Awards, the Real Beauty Awards and the Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards, and our nail treatments have been singled out by respected beauty editors. What ties them together is independent judging: reader panels who live with a product for weeks, or expert juries testing it against the rest of the market.

Our most recent headline win. Serum Foundation was named Best Foundation at the Top Santé Health & Beauty Awards 2025, judged on real-world performance. It is a skincare-first foundation that blends beautifully with a brush and gives buildable coverage while caring for the skin underneath. One of the judges summed it up:

Mavala Stop, our bitter-tasting treatment that helps break the nail-biting habit, was picked out by respected beauty journalist Sarah Jossel in her Diary of a Beauty Editor as her top recommendation for helping to stop nail biting. An endorsement from one of the beauty industry's most respected voices carries real weight, and it reflects what customers have told us for years: that a small, clever formula can help end a habit that willpower alone rarely fixes.

Our make-up was recognised twice at the Health and Wellbeing Awards 2024. Perfect Concealer took Silver in the cosmetics category, a two-serum formula that treats the skin while it covers, going a step beyond a traditional concealer. Berry Lip Balm took Bronze, one of a range of tinted balms that nourish, moisturise and protect stressed, dry lips while adding a wash of colour.

In 2019, the year Mavala marked six decades of Swiss nail care, the brand took two honours at the Beauty Shortlist Awards. Scientifique K+ was named Best Nail Product, recognition for the treatment that strengthens and protects the most fragile part of the nail, the tip. And the Mini Colours range, our iconic 5ml bottles with the pleated gold caps first launched in 1962, was named Best Nail Brand. Two wins in one year, for a treatment and for a colour range, captured what Mavala does across the whole nail.

At the 2019 Real Beauty Awards, run by the Sunday Mirror's Notebook and the Sunday Express' S Magazine and judged by a panel of 650 reader-testers who lived with each product for a month, Anti-Age Pro Chronobiological Day Cream was Highly Commended in the Day Cream category. It is a day cream synchronised to the skin's natural daytime rhythm, clinically shown to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. One tester, Christine from Merseyside, wrote:

Left skin amazingly smooth and soft. I found it plumped my skin, reduced sagging and my lines appeared reduced.

Also in 2019, Mavala Mini Colours won a Bronze award in the natural nail polish category at the Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards, chosen by an independent panel of beauty experts looking for what the awards describe as the best of natural beauty. It was a nod to the same range that carries our colour heritage, recognised this time for its place in the natural beauty world.

Awards are not the only mark of recognition. Through 2026 Mavala products have been picked out by the beauty desks of the national press. Marie Claire recommended Ridge Filler in a feature on treating and disguising nail ridges (8 May 2026), and Citizen Femme named Mavala among the best European beauty brands, calling our Nail Hardener a beauty editor's go-to for at-home manicures (13 May 2026).

Our in-house nail expert Lynn Mason is a voice the beauty press turns to on nail health and trends. She was quoted in HELLO! on the return of natural, structured nails (13 May 2026) and in Best sharing her technique for the season's glossy, sheer manicure (26 May 2026). A named expert the industry trusts is recognition of a different kind, and it sits behind every Mavala nail treatment on this page.

An award is only as good as the judging behind it, and the value in these is that they are independent. Reader panels test at home for weeks. Expert juries compare a product against everything else in its category. Beauty editors put their name to a recommendation. When you choose a Mavala product that carries one of these honours, you are choosing something that has been proven by someone other than us. That is the point of Swiss expertise: it holds up when it is put to the test.
